not a highly creative approach to programming.Again and again listeners have been calling for innovation and CONTENT in audio entertainment.
Radio can make a come-back, but not this way. Neither of CBS’s approaches give anyone a reason to listen. Consumers will continue to choose their iPod and other devices over radio as long as the content continues to be homogenized. It’s time for real innovation in radio content. That’s the only thing that will bring the listeners back. Music can be heard anywhere and everywhere… A well produced entertaining audio PROGRAM is hard to find.
Between now and the New Year I will be presenting 10 innovative and interesting programming ideas that can be integrated in to audio programming today to improve the quality of radio programming. Stay tuned.
